Description
Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), Med Surg
City/State: Lincoln, Nebraska
Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:
Registered Nurse needed for Med Surg unit with experience in managing medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients.
Responsibilities:
- Care for patients with medical, surgical, and orthopedic conditions
- Work with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6
- Perform duties with the support of nurse aids/patient care techs at a 1:10-12 ratio
- Administer titratable drips, primarily Heparin
- Operate within parameters set by the centralized Tele station
- Participate in floating requirements to PCU or Burn units as needed
Requirements:
- Current RN license
- BLS Certification
- Pass/Fail OPEN BOOK exam with a 90% passing score during orientation
- Adherence to fingernail and dress code policies
- Compliance with radius rule and employment restrictions related to CommonSpirit facilities
