Job Description:
The registered nurse in labor and delivery provides specialized care for mothers and newborns at a family birth center. This position requires experience in managing both high and low-risk pregnancies and coordinating with the obstetric team for safe delivery outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage labor and delivery processes, ensuring the safety and comfort of mother and child.
- Administer medications and monitor patient vitals and labor progression.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Valid RN license
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- COVID-19 Vaccine Certification
