Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room is responsible for providing care to neonatal through geriatric patients, managing both walk-in traumas and various types of patients, including cardiac, neuro, and respiratory cases. The role includes floating to other off-campus emergency department sites as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages.
• Float between primary and other assigned off-campus emergency department sites.
• Manage ventilated patients and handle emergency situations independently.
• Perform charting and administer medication using EPIC, Alaris, and Pyxis systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience; CAP with at least 5 years.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NIHSS, TNCC.
• Strong skills in medication administration, chest tubes, central lines, and IVs.
• Must demonstrate strong customer service skills and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
