Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), Labor/Delivery (L&D)
City/State: Dickinson, North Dakota
Shift: 12H Day/Night Rotate - 3x12s - Every 3rd weekend, first to float, holidays as needed
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:
The RN in the Labor/Delivery (L&D) unit will be responsible for providing nursing care to expectant mothers and their newborns. The role involves working in a four-bed labor unit with seven postpartum beds in a rural hospital setting. Experience with high-risk pregnancies and the ability to manage antepartum and postpartum care are essential. The RN will need to float to other units as required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to laboring women, postpartum mothers, and newborns
- Administer and titrate medications and drips such as Magnesium, Oxytocin, and pain relievers
- Utilize OB Trace Vue fetal monitoring system for patient care
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Participate in block scheduling, ensuring coverage for every third weekend and as needed on holidays
Requirements:
- Current RN license and certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP
- Minimum of 2 years experience in labor and delivery
- Ability to pass fit testing; facial hair must comply with equipment requirements
- Proficiency in MEDITECH charting system
