Job Description:

The RN in the Labor/Delivery unit is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in high-risk deliveries, managing emergency situations, and ensuring adherence to guidelines such as AWOHNN. Candidates should possess strong circulatory skills for C-sections and demonstrate proficiency in interacting with the Cerner charting system.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to labor and delivery patients, including high-risk deliveries.
• Collaborate with OB techs to assist in deliveries and C-sections.
• Utilize Cerner for patient charting and documentation.
• Float to postpartum or NICU to provide support as needed.

Requirements:

• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications.
• 2-3 years of experience in Labor/Delivery nursing; prior travel contract experience preferred.
• Ability to circulate for C-sections.
• COVID vaccine required.
