Job Description:
The RN in the Neonatal ICU will provide specialized care for critically ill newborns. The role requires strong clinical skills, experience in a NICU setting, and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a 60-bed NICU with a patient ratio of 2-3:1.
- Utilize Philips Monitors and document using Meditech and Centricity Perinatal systems.
- Participate in unit-specific norms, such as rotating weekends and holiday shifts.
- Adhere to a floating policy for comparable areas of high need.
Requirements:
- Nursing license, BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications required.
- Previous NICU experience is required.
- Compliance with unit dress code: Navy, ceil blue, grey, or white scrubs without long sleeves, watches, rings, or nail polish.
