Job Description:
The NICU Registered Nurse will provide direct and specialized nursing care to neonatal patients. The role requires previous experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit setting, managing care with advanced monitoring equipment, and working collaboratively with a dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage care for high-risk newborns in the NICU.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform advanced procedures as required within the NICU setting.
- Float to comparable areas of high need as required.
Requirements:
- Current Nursing License
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE
- Experience in a NICU environment
- Competency with Philips Monitors and Meditech & Centricity Perinatal documentation systems
- Ability to work 3x12 hour shifts per week, including rotating weekends and holidays
