Description
Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), ER
City/State: Durango, Colorado
Shift: 12H Nights, EOW
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 08/10/2026
Job Description:
Registered Nurse needed for the Emergency Room department. Nurse will work 12-hour night shifts and must be prepared to float within Zone 5 as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care and treatment in the ER, with an average of 63 patients per day
- Manage nurse to patient ratios from 1:4-5 based on acuity
- Interpret telemetry; responsible for Point of Care lab testing
- Work collaboratively with techs and RT available 24/7 for treatments and ABGs
- Participate in triage and assist floor nurses
Requirements:
- 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
