Shift: 8H Days 0630-1500, Monday-Friday. Evening and Weekend call required

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The OR RN is responsible for providing care during the perioperative phase and ensuring patient safety. The nurse will be required to work during weekdays with evening and weekend call duties and must maintain a 30-minute call response time.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures with common cases including laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, appendectomies, basic orthopedics, gynecology, and podiatry.
• Coordinate with OR techs and assist as needed to ensure smooth procedural flow.
• Adhere to dress code with Ceil Blue scrubs provided by the facility.
• Partake in a department-specific orientation and demonstrate competency.
• Utilize EPIC charting system effectively.

Requirements:

• Valid RN License
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Preferred experience with robotic and GI procedures
• Ability to work with flexibility in shift patterns including call duties
