Description

Job Title

Travel- NICU SLP - Speech Language Pathology

City/State: Houston, Texas

Shift: M-F 08:00-17:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: 08/03/2026

Job Description:

The speech-language pathologist in the NICU will evaluate speech, language, and swallowing abilities of patients with impairments and establish a plan of care using evidence-based practice interventions. This role involves interacting and collaborating with healthcare professionals to assess intervention programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates speech/language and swallowing abilities of patients with impairments or changes in physical function due to various causes.
  • Interacts and collaborates with professionals to implement and assess intervention programs.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Neonatal Experience
  • Modified Barium Swallow Study
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
  • Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology
