Job Description:

The ER Registered Nurse (RN) will provide acute care for patients in the emergency department. Responsibilities include managing their own ER holds, assisting with trauma, stroke, sepsis, CHF, cardiac cases, and performing nurse draws as needed. The position requires proficiency in ECG rhythm interpretation and use of RT equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department.
• Manage ER holds and collaborate with charge nurse and house supervisor.
• Interpret ECG rhythms and assist with the use of respiratory therapy equipment.
• Conduct triage and fast-track patient processing when needed.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Emergency Department.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC.
• Proficiency in using Paragon EMR system.
