Job Description:

The registered nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit is responsible for managing the care of mothers and newborns during the intrapartum, postpartum, and antepartum periods. The unit has 15 LDRP beds and follows AWHONN guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios.

Responsibilities:

Provide care for obstetric patients, including laboring mothers, postpartum, and antepartum cases
Titrate and manage medications such as Pitocin, Mag, and Procardia

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience
Certifications: BLS, NRP
