Description
Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), Med Surg
City/State: Omaha, Nebraska
Shift: 12H Nights 19:00:00-07:00:00

Job Description:
Registered Nurse needed for Med Surg unit, responsible for caring for post-operative recovery patients and general MedSurg duties. Floating within scope as needed. Familiarity with EPIC charting system preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Care for MedSurg patients, including oncology med/surg overflow.
- Maintain a ratio of 1:5 for patient care.
- Pass an open book exam on skills learned, achieving at least 90% to continue the assignment.
- Adhere to artificial nails policy; removal required for continued employment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-year MedSurg experience required.
- BLS Certification required.
- Driver's license required at submission to verify residency distance.
- Experience with nasal cannula equipment beneficial.
- Previous charge nurse experience of at least 1 year required if opting for charge role.
- First time travelers accepted.
