Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
City/State: Spokane, Washington
Shift: 12H Nights, Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00
Contract Length: 21 weeks
Start Date: 09/21/2026
Job Description:
Provide nursing care for high risk and low risk ante-partum and intra-partum pregnant women, immediate postpartum, and stabilization of normal newborns in a 12 bed labor and delivery unit.
Responsibilities:
- Stabilize and provide couplet care for normal newborns.
- Assist with vaginal delivery recoveries in collaboration with OBT service.
- Administer intravenous therapy and start IVs.
- Circulate during C-sections and manage high-risk patient conditions following AWHONN guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience required.
- BLS, NRP, and EFM certifications required.
- Competency with IUPC, FSE, and telemetry monitoring technologies.
- Experience with EPIC EMR, Baxter IV pumps, and GE/Centricity fetal monitoring system preferred.
