Registered Nurse ICU Mixed Acuity

Job Description:
This position involves working in a mixed acuity ICU unit, handling intermediate care patients as well as non-vented ICU level patients. The role is best suited for an individual with at least one year of ICU experience, with responsibilities that include managing neurological and post-procedural patients, as well as those with various acute conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage neurological and post-procedural patients including post TNK, Neuro IR procedures, hemorrhages, aneurysms, post VP shunt placements, spinal cord injuries, and more.
- Care for patients with conditions such as respiratory failure, CHF, hypotension, sepsis, AMS, DKA, and electrolyte abnormalities.
Requirements:
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Experience with managing patients on bipap/cpap, cardiac rhythm interpretation, CVP monitoring, and handling titratable drips such as Cardizem, Dobutamine, and others.
