Job Description:
The Certified Surgical Tech - CVOR will assist in cardio and thoracic surgeries including CABG, TAVR, valve replacements, and thoracic cases. The role requires a strong CVOR background across all specialties and involves floating to the main OR as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in various cardio and thoracic surgical cases
- Support the surgeon and team as primary or secondary tech
- Float to the main OR as needed
- Participate in weekend and overnight on-call rotations
Requirements:
- 2 years of CVOR experience
- BLS certification and graduation from accredited school
- Associate Degree in a healthcare-related field or CST certification
- Experience with CABG, TAVR, and robotic thoracic cases
- Experience with EPIC, Omnicell, and Alaris systems
