Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit will provide care to pregnant women, newborns, and perform gynecological surgical procedures. The role includes triage, functioning as the baby catcher, and carrying out transition nursing duties.

Responsibilities:

Triage pregnant women and manage labor processes
Function as the baby catcher during deliveries
Administer and titrate drips such as Pitocin

Requirements:

1 year of L&D experience with LDRP training
Certifications: ALS, NRP, AWHONN EFM
License to submit: Yes
