Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, specifically in Neuro and Stroke cases, utilizing EPIC charting in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 1:2, sometimes 1:3.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care based on the individualized care plan.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to implement and evaluate patient care.
• Adjust to floating requirements to other units as needed.

Requirements:

• Illinois RN License
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• 2+ years of strong ICU experience, specifically in Neuro and Stroke
• Passed EKG test with 80% or higher
• EPIC charting experience
