Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will provide specialized care to patients with cardiac and vascular conditions, ensuring high-quality treatment in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to cardiovascular patients, including those post-operative from open-heart surgery and other cardiac procedures.
• Manage cardiac drug therapies and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure positive patient outcomes.
• Adapt care for acuity levels, including managing medical overflow and telemetry.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of strong cardiac or PCU experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to handle cardiac drip management, including nitro, heparin, and Amiodarone.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork and effective communication.
