Job Description:
The Registered Nurse - Cardiac PCU will provide specialized nursing care to cardiac and vascular patients, including those undergoing post-operative open-heart surgery and cardiac telemetry. The role demands proficiency in cardiac drip management and the ability to provide care to critically ill patients requiring higher-level care but not qualifying for ICU criteria.
Responsibilities:
- Care for cardiovascular patients and manage cardiac drips
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of strong cardiac or PCU experience
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis med dispensing
