Job Description:

The RN in Telemetry will work within a virtual integrated care nursing model, managing patients with common diagnoses such as CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, and CKD. Nurses will work the schedule provided and cannot offer block scheduling. The unit has 24 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage patients using telemonitoring equipment.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips and report findings to the care team.
• Administer CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow treatments as required.
• Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and nurse educators.
• Float to all med/surg units as needed.

Requirements:

• Current BLS Certification.
• Proficiency in great communication and time management skills.
• Ability to read telemetry strips.
