Description

Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), Telemetry

City/State: Prescott, Arizona

Shift: 12H Days, Every Other Weekend, First to Float, Days, 07:00:00-19:00:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: 08/24/2026

Job Description:

The RN is responsible for providing care in a float pool, covering units such as MedSurg, Tele, PCU, and inpatients holding in the ED across multiple campuses. Responsibilities include administering medications, managing and titrating drips, and interpreting monitor strips. Flexible scheduling and travel between campuses are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer care and treatment to geriatric and ortho patients in a stepdown unit.
  • Manage post-procedural patients, including post MI and post Cardiac Cath patients.
  • Titrate drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Insulin.
  • Collaborate with charge nurses and staff, addressing patient needs and maintaining communication.

Requirements:

  • Valid RN license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a PCU setting
  • Proficiency in managing drips and telemetry equipment
  • Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with at least 80% score within two attempts
