Shift: 12H Day/Night Rotate D/N rotation + weekends as needed + first to float

Job Description:

Seeking a registered nurse for the Med Surg unit to provide comprehensive nursing care to adults and pediatric patients. Candidates must effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to variable patient acuity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care by executing care plans, evaluating patient outcomes, and coordinating with the healthcare team.
• Apply telemonitoring equipment to patients and work closely with ICU monitors.
• Participate in self-scheduling and float to ED/ICU for one-on-one care as needed.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation using the MEDITECH charting system.

Requirements:

• Current RN license with ability to submit credentials.
• Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Successful completion of fit testing; facial hair must be managed accordingly.
• Flexibility in working both day and night shifts with weekend requirements as needed.
