RN - Neuro Stepdown

Shift: 19:00-07:00, Nights
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:
Registered Nurse needed for Neuro Stepdown unit with strong clinical skills and a focus on neuro stepdown care. The role requires excellent nursing and time management skills, with experience in critical care environments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage patient ratios of 6:1 on Acute Care and 4:1 on Neuro Stepdown.
- Perform bedside shift reports, establish personal connections, and participate in daily huddles.
- Handle equipment including vital sign machines, high flow oxygen, ventilators, and cardiac drips.
- Perform procedures such as lumbar puncture and chest tube placement.
Requirements:
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and nursing skills for acute and neuro stepdown care.
- Experience in Neuro Stepdown or similar unit preferred.
