Job Description:
This position is for a Break Nurse in the Labor & Delivery department. The role involves managing and delivering high-risk OB patients, as well as providing support during births and postpartum care.
Responsibilities:
- Manage labor and delivery for high-risk OB patients.
- Triage OB patients and interpret fetal monitoring strips.
- Circulate in the operating room and perform cervical checks.
- Provide care and recovery for normal newborns as needed.
Requirements:
- Possession of BLS, NRP, and Intermediate FHM (AWHONN) certifications.
- High acuity experience with labor management and delivery.
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
