Job Description:

The RN Med Surg position requires a registered nurse responsible for decisions and actions within the domain of nursing practice, promoting a safe environment for nursing care, acquiring specialized knowledge, demonstrating competence in nursing, and supervising other staff.

Responsibilities:

General Med Surg
Initiate IV
NG
Foley
Dressing change
ADL

Requirements:

BLS and ACLS certifications required
Active TX RN License or Compact RN License
2+ years of hospital and specialty experience in Med/Tele
Experience with Meditech preferred
Competence in patient experience, AIDET, bedside reporting, hour rounding, and service recovery
