Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in Telemetry is responsible for providing care in a holding area in the ER for patients transitioning to the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry floors. The role primarily involves working with an elderly population with a focus on critical care and monitoring of medically complex patients.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and interpret EKG readings and other vital signs.
Provide routine and emergency nursing care to patients.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Possibly float within the hospital as required.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
Must pass an EKG test.
Valid Illinois RN license.
Current certifications in CPR, ACLS, and BLS.
Experience with Epic EMR system.
