Job Description:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Trauma ICU to provide care to critically ill patients. The unit accommodates adult and pediatric patients over the age of 15 with various trauma injuries, including sepsis, stroke, ARDS, MODS, COPD, and cardiac arrest. Nurses are required to titrate drips, utilize RT equipment, and interpret telemetry data.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and manage a Nurse:Patient ratio of 1:1-2 in ICU and 1:4 in PCU.
• Titrate vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics as needed.
• Utilize equipment such as CVPs, IABP, Alines, Swans, and EV-1000, and monitor patients with ICP and thermoguard protocols.
• Participate in a team environment with critical thinking and positive attitude.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license and driver's license required for submittal.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Able to pass a skills exam with a minimum score of 90%.
• Adhere to dress code: Navy Blue scrubs.
