Job Description:
The RN in the Emergency Room will provide high-quality patient care with responsibilities including assessing patients, administering treatment, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Strong IV skills with adults and pediatric patients
- Manage cardioversion, central line placements, and cardiac arrests
- Administer IV insertions, EKGs, and conduct basic ER procedures
- Monitor and respond to Code Stroke and Code Sepsis protocols
- Assist with suture/abscess setup
Requirements:
- Valid RN license with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Preferred: Trauma experience, TNCC, and Meditech experience
