Job Description:

This position requires a registered nurse to work in the NICU, providing care and support to preterm and critically ill infants. The nurse should be skilled in IV insertion, able to work independently, and possess strong assessment skills to identify symptoms of declining health.

Responsibilities:

• Provide breastfeeding support and maintain strong communication with families.
• Care for and stabilize critically ill infants, including those needing vent support and CPAP.
• Perform procedures such as newborn resuscitation, intubation, and umbilical line placement.

Requirements:

• RN licensure, BLS, and NRP certifications.
• Experience with IV insertion in infants and ability to administer TPN and lipids.
• Strong knowledge of surfactant administration and needle decompression.
