Job Description:

The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care using the nursing process. Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers and delegation of role-appropriate tasks in the implementation of care. Performs all duties and responsibilities according to established policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care of each patient according to the nursing process.
• Provides education for the patient and family/significant other from admission through discharge process.
• Administers medications and performs treatments in an accurate, safe manner.
• Implements physician orders as written and assures equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care.

Requirements:

• Must have Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certificate.
• Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio.
• CPR certification required.
• Associate degree in nursing; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Previous Registered Nursing experience preferred.
