Description

Job Title: Contract-RN-Labor and Delivery

City/State: San Antonio, Texas

Shift: 07:00-19:00, Days

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: 08/13/2026

Job Description:

A Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit responsible for providing care to patients during the birthing process. This includes monitoring fetal development, managing labor, assisting with deliveries, and providing immediate postpartum care.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the progress of labor and administer necessary medications.
  • Assist with vaginal deliveries and caesarean sections.
  • Provide care and support for mothers and newborns post-delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to patient care.

Requirements:

  • Active TX RN License.
  • 2+ years of experience in Hospital/Specialty area.
  • Certifications in Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, BLS, NRP.
  • Proficiency in fetal monitoring techniques and the ability to interpret results.
