Description
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will care for patients with critical conditions, providing vital support in a fast-paced environment.
Contract Details
- Contract Length: 48 hours
- Start Date: ASAP
Unit Information
Our ICU features 16-10 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 to 4, ensuring high-quality care for our patients.
Patient Types
The focus of care includes, but is not limited to, patients experiencing the following conditions:
- Sepsis
- Heart Failure
- Hypertensive Emergency
- Respiratory Failure
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Chronic Kidney Disease
- Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM)
- Substance Abuse
- Encephalopathy
Please note that the administration of heparin drips is a part of the standard care protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
