Description
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a travel assignment. The position involves providing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment throughout the process.
Position Details
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Various start times, including 4-10 hour shifts and 5-8 hour shifts
- Call Requirements: 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month
- Floating: Not required
- Orientation: Approved orientation of 1 week
Responsibilities
- Assist with surgical procedures as a circulating nurse.
- Maintain a sterile field during surgeries.
- Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Indiana.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room setting.
- Experience with circulating, general, and robotic surgical cases is preferred.
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) system.
