Travel-RN-Labor and Delivery (707)

Shift: 19:00-07:00, Nights

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The role involves providing care and support for patients in labor and delivery, managing labor processes, operating necessary equipment, and administering required medications.

Responsibilities:

Conduct sterile vaginal exams
Manage FSE/IUPC placements
Circulate during Cesarean sections
Perform Non-Stress Tests (NSTs)
Facilitate Oxytocin Induction/Augmentation
Administer Magnesium Sulfate therapy for preeclampsia and fetal neuroprotection
Manage insulin drip titration as needed

Requirements:

2 complete years of Labor and Delivery Unit (LDU) experience
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring AWOHNN, NRP
Experience with Magnesium Sulfate Drip management and Oxytocin Management
