Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients, specifically focusing on Neuro and Stroke cases. The role requires a strong ability to manage a 1:2 or sometimes 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio and ensure high-quality care through effective use of EPIC Charting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, focusing on critically ill patients.
• Utilize EPIC Charting for accurate and timely documentation.
• Adapt to floating between different units and potentially to other facilities as needed.

Requirements:

• IL License, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of strong ICU experience, specifically with Neuro and Stroke.
• Pass EKG test with a score of 80% or higher at submission.
• Flexibility to work E/O weekends and holidays as needed.
