Job Description:

Experienced Registered Nurse required for Cardio Vascular ICU. Responsible for providing critical care to cardiovascular patients, requiring an understanding of a wide array of conditions and specialized skills.

Responsibilities:

• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, thermoregulation, CABG, and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump.
• Manage Post Cardiac Surgery patients and Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/interventions, including Swan Ganz monitoring.
• Care for patients with Valve Replacement/Repair, LVAD/RVAD, and CVVHD/CRRT.
• Administer IV therapy, manage surgical wounds, and perform infection prevention and isolation precautions.

Requirements:

• 3 years CV ICU experience with successful completion of EKG test.
• Active IL license, CPR, ACLS, NIHSS, and Epic experience required.
• Skills in CVI ICU including ventilator management, phlebotomy, and medication administration.
• Submit updated resume, CV ICU skills checklist, CV reference, and verification of IL license.
