Respiratory Therapist, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description:

Provides all respiratory modalities in all areas of the hospital, including medication delivery, emergency response, intubation assistance, ventilator management (both invasive and non-invasive), arterial blood gases, pulmonary hygiene, hyperinflation therapy, patient transport of critically ill patients with artificial airway, and home oxygen assessment and coordination.

Responsibilities:

Provide all respiratory modalities in all areas of the hospital.
Assist with intubation.

Requirements:

ACLS (AHA) certification.
BLS (AHA) certification.
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC.
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
PALS (AHA) certification.
CO license.
