Description
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs as ordered by physicians. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in positioning and instructing patients prior to examinations, as well as adjusting x-ray equipment to ensure optimal settings for each radiograph.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate x-ray equipment effectively to capture clear radiographs of designated body parts.
- Position patients correctly for examinations and instruct them on procedures to ensure comfort and compliance.
- Adjust the x-ray equipment settings, including voltage and current, to align with the specifications of each radiograph.
- Determine and set the appropriate exposure time to maximize image quality.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols regarding radiation exposure.
Qualifications
- Current certification and/or licensure as required for X-Ray Technologists.
- Strong understanding of radiographic techniques and safety procedures.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately conduct examinations.
