Unit Information

This position is within an Emergency Department with the following characteristics:

• Number of Beds: 28
• Staff Composition:
  • Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 10 RNs, 2-3 Techs, 1 Unit Secretary
  • Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 10 RNs, 2-3 Techs, 1 Unit Secretary
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Type of Equipment: EMR - Meditech

Job Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for:

• Performing various medical procedures including IV starts, blood draws, resuscitations, and EKGs.
• Providing compassionate care to patients in emergency situations.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Required Certifications:
  • TNCC
  • PALS
  • ACLS
  • BLS
• Experience: Acute ER experience is required; trauma experience is preferred.

Work Schedule
