Job Summary

The Nursing Coordinator is responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care to patients or groups of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process. This role includes supervising and directing the activities of various levels of nursing staff while ensuring effective communication and coordination of care with other healthcare disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care based on established standards and the nursing process.
• Supervise and guide the activities of assigned nursing staff across varying levels of experience.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to health and wellness.
• Utilize critical thinking and professional judgment to make informed decisions regarding patient care.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adapting care plans as necessary.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in nursing practice, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse healthcare professionals.
