Job Summary

This position is responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups of patients in alignment with established standards of care and the nursing process. The role involves supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff while ensuring effective coordination of care with other healthcare disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care based on established standards and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct the activities of nursing staff at various levels.
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal health outcomes.
• Utilize critical thinking and professional discretion in making clinical decisions.
• Apply independent judgment in assessing patient needs and developing care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality care standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license applicable to the state of employment.
• Previous nursing experience preferred, particularly in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of nursing best practices and protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
