Occupational Therapist

Position Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist with experience in lymphedema treatment. This position is for a 13-week assignment starting in October in the scenic city of Reedsport, Oregon. The successful candidate will provide both outpatient and inpatient therapy services, focusing primarily on the evaluation and treatment of patients with lymphedema.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with lymphedema.
• Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient therapy services.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
• Educate patients and their families about lymphedema management, treatments, and care strategies.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon Occupational Therapist license or the ability to obtain it prior to the start date.
• Experience in lymphedema treatment is required; a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) credential is preferred.
• Prior outpatient experience is preferred.
• Strong patient education and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and time management abilities.
