Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide essential respiratory care services to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Schedule
This position requires flexibility, with varying shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM on designated days.
Duration
This is a temporary role for a duration of 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed.
- Monitor and assess patient’s respiratory status and respond to changes in condition.
- Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care and treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in respiratory care.
- Valid Georgia Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
Holiday Requirements
The candidate is expected to work a minimum of 2 major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, as well as 1 minor holiday such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
Location
This role is available in Holiday, GA, without local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
