Description
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality patient care in a professional environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of recent experience within the mammography specialty and will be responsible for performing a variety of mammography procedures independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform all types of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms.
- Conduct stereotactic biopsies and ensure competency in quality control related to mammography.
- Work autonomously under indirect supervision.
- Maintain compliance with safety and quality assurance protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in mammography.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) in Mammography.
- Strong understanding of mammography procedures and protocols.
Work Schedule
This position requires availability from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday, for a duration of 13 weeks.
Holiday Requirements
The candidate must be willing to work a minimum of two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
