Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team within a range of healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of nursing principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care while assessing and prioritizing patients' clinical, educational, mental, and spiritual needs.
• Recognize safety issues for both self and patients, implementing appropriate measures including the safe use of lifts for patient movement.
• Function effectively in stressful situations, displaying strong problem-solving skills.
• Assume additional responsibilities as needed and may be required to take on leadership roles, including charge nurse duties.
• Utilize clinical equipment and instrumentation to maintain a safe and aseptic environment in the operating room or ambulatory surgical unit.
• Interpret lethal dysrhythmias accurately.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current New York State RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Previous experience in a nursing role, demonstrating leadership, preceptorship, and charge nurse capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.

Work Schedule

This position includes 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekend, holiday, and on-call responsibilities.
