General Surgery and Specialty Operating Room Nurse

Job Description

This opportunity involves working in a high-volume surgical environment with approximately 120 cases per month. The ideal candidate will possess experience in a variety of surgical specialties, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Total Joints, Podiatry, OBGYN (including C-sections), Endoscopy, Neurosurgery, Robotics, ENT, and Cataracts.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist in various surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
• Utilize advanced surgical equipment, including Hana Tables, Stryker, Arthrex, and Medacta.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting is required.
• Experience in neurosurgery is preferred.

Schedule

The working hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM. The candidate will be expected to take 7-10 days of call per month, which may include weekends.

Additional Information

• Flu vaccination is mandatory for all personnel without exceptions.
• A 100-mile radius rule applies: Candidates with a permanent address within 100 miles of the location will not be considered.
• Requests for time off (RTO) during the 13-week contract should not exceed three days.
• The facility may cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week assignment, and guaranteed hours will not apply.
