Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a long-term care facility located within a hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of nursing duties including assessments, treatments, medication administration, and collaboration with healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed.
• Notify medical personnel of any pertinent information regarding patient care.
• Facilitate patient admissions and discharges.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide care for gastrostomy tubes and urinary catheters.
• Administer nebulizer treatments and manage wound vac care.
• Provide CPAP care as needed.
• Execute additional assigned nursing duties as required.

Shifts

The position requires availability for varied shift scheduling, including:

• Day shifts: 0730 - 1530
• Evening shifts: 1500 - 2330
• Night shifts: 2300 - 0730

Weekend and holiday shifts are required, and overtime rotation may be necessary. Please note that there are no guarantees for specific hours or shift preferences.

Additional Information

Candidates must arrive by the Thursday prior to the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday. Ensure you meet this requirement before accepting the offered start date.

This position is located in a long-term care facility within a hospital in Hawaii.
