Job Summary

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and re-evaluating assigned patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The role involves planning and implementing an ongoing therapeutic physical therapy program as prescribed by the ordering physician, managing a full caseload, and updating treatment plans and home exercise programs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients, ensuring comprehensive assessment and ongoing care.
• Plan and implement therapeutic physical therapy programs in accordance with physician prescriptions.
• Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs for patients.
• Independently manage a full caseload while adhering to insurance authorization protocols for re-evaluations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in an interdisciplinary team environment.
• Work in accordance with state and federal holiday operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active Hawaii State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working with adults in both outpatient and acute settings.
• Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross is required.

Work Schedule

Days: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Additional Information

Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start of the assignment to complete an employee health appointment on Friday. Please confirm availability for the proposed start date prior to acceptance of the offer.
