Description

Clinical Nurse

Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated Clinical Nurses to join our team. This position involves working in an acute care setting, providing essential nursing care and support to patients. The role includes the possibility of floating between various locations within a designated zone.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an acute care environment.
  • Participate in the orientation program to become familiar with policies and procedures.
  • Be prepared to float within the zone as needed, ensuring adequate staffing and patient care.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.

Qualifications

  • Current nursing license required.
  • ACLS, BLS (AHA), ENPC or PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications are required.
  • Must be willing and able to float to other locations within the designated zone as necessary.

Work Schedule

  • Shifts available from 6 PM to 6 AM.
  • Every other weekend availability is required.

Additional Information

Candidates should be prepared for the possibility of mid-shift float assignments or additional responsibilities such as CNA/Sitter duties during low census periods to ensure hours are met. Travel time will be compensated accordingly.

Housing arrangements must be made by the candidate within a 60-mile radius of the center of the assigned zone to meet floating requirements.

Please ensure that you are available for the week-long orientation, even if some initial training modules are conducted remotely.
